Density Gamma Probe HDG-453
The probe provides relative measurement of the bulk density of formations surrounding the barehole with very good bed boundary resolution.
The probe contains a gamma source and a high sensitivity gamma scintillation detector that is shilded against direct radiatio from source. Therefore only the radiation backscattered from the formation reaches the detector.
The relative count-rates provide a measure of formation bulk density.
